How it works: The Watermark Iron Filter MAX Air-Jet System first injects incoming water with oxygen. Next this oxygen infused water enters KX900 Advanced Iron Water Filtration. This extreme dirt grabbing media oxidizes, precipitates and traps iron, manganese and sulfur, along with harmful arsenic, lead, radium and other heavy metals if in the water. Next the regeneration process then backwashes the media bed, removing trapped contaminates. Finally the filter rinses for a fine finish refresh before going back into the service mode.
